Only Miracle

Nothing to cheer you, a month’s
full spiral of biochemical terror,
know poems won’t stand to such miracle

Only miracle in sight, agony will slowly
pool & sheer away, exit, in pieces
you tell me, about the eyes

Now where the poem sits
one wants, desperate, all the house
three people close, one view, no
glass screen drawn against them

And when the daily tremors run down
exhausted, tranquilized, forgive me
(repetitious)       I want to dream
my mind flushed
